The Infrastructure Operations organization is looking for Data Center Technicians to take AWS Data Centre Operations to the next level. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. This position involves hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair and includes participation in an on-call rotation. All candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful. In addition to hardware and network repair candidates will install equipment, create documentation, innovate solutions, participate in site-level project work, and fix complex problems within the Data Center Space. This team works in an environment that operates 24/7.

This position requires that the candidate selected obtain and maintain an active Reliability Status security clearance with the Government of Canada.

L\'organisation d\'exploitation des infrastructures est \xc3\xa0 la recherche d\'un/une technicien(ne) de centre de donn\xc3\xa9es pour amener les op\xc3\xa9rations des centres de donn\xc3\xa9es AWS au niveau sup\xc3\xa9rieur. Le poste permettra d\'assurer la disponibilit\xc3\xa9 et la fiabilit\xc3\xa9 globales pour atteindre ou d\xc3\xa9passer les niveaux de service d\xc3\xa9finis pour les op\xc3\xa9rations du centre de donn\xc3\xa9es. Ce poste comprend des diagnostics de mat\xc3\xa9riel informatique et de r\xc3\xa9seaux, ainsi que de la r\xc3\xa9paration physique. Ce poste inclut la participation \xc3\xa0 une rotation de garde. Tous les candidats doivent \xc3\xaatre capables de travailler de fa\xc3\xa7on autonome et en \xc3\xa9quipe. Ce poste exige que le candidat s\xc3\xa9lectionn\xc3\xa9 obtienne et conserve une cote de fiabilit\xc3\xa9 active aupr\xc3\xa8s du gouvernement du Canada.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualification:

• 2+ years of Computer Hardware, including troubleshooting and repair skills.
• 1+ years of Linux Operating Systems experience.
• 1+ years of Computer Networking experience.
• Experience with Storage Devices.
• Good understanding of scripting languages.
• Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs and or work in elevated locations.
• Availability to work in an environment that operates 24/7.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule.
• Valid driver\'s license. This position requires driving a personal vehicle between company locations regularly.
• Must have the ability to read/write/speak/communicate fluently (English) with respect to complex technical instructions and concepts.

• Bonne compr\xc3\xa9hension des langages de script;
• Le candidat doit pouvoir soulever des charges allant jusqu\'\xc3\xa0 22 kg (50 lbs) et travailler dans des espaces sur\xc3\xa9lev\xc3\xa9s;
• \xc3\x8atre disponible pour travailler dans un environnement qui fonctionne 24 h/24 et 7 j/7.
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 de travailler sur un horaire rotatif;
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 lire, \xc3\xa9crire, parler et communiquer ais\xc3\xa9ment en anglais en utilisant des instructions et des concepts techniques complexes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment);
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system;
• Good understanding of Linux or similar Operating Systems;
• Good understanding of network design, protocols and troubleshooting;
• Experience with storage devices;
• Experience in problem solving and addressing customer service related issues by working with the customer and other internal teams;
• A Bachelor\'s Degree, or equivalent experience in an IT related field.

• Poss\xc3\xa9der une exp\xc3\xa9rience en r\xc3\xa9solution et en gestion de probl\xc3\xa8mes li\xc3\xa9s au service \xc3\xa0 la client\xc3\xa8le en collaboration avec le client et avec d\'autres \xc3\xa9quipes internes;
• Poss\xc3\xa9der un baccalaur\xc3\xa9at ou une exp\xc3\xa9rience \xc3\xa9quivalente dans un domaine li\xc3\xa9 aux TI.
