Alteo is looking for a Data Center Systems Administrator for a permanent position based in Boucherville.*** Hybrid work ***Responsibilities:

• Maintain the highest level of service availability
• Ensure that infrastructures are properly monitored and maintain consistency with other hosted systems
• Diagnose and deal with any data center infrastructure incidents and ensure that they do not recur.
• Participate in the study and analysis of the company's needs in terms of hosted infrastructures
• Administer physical and virtual machines, networking and storage in the data center
• Ensure the management of change requests in production and maintain up-to-date logs of failures, interventions and incidents
• Ensure continuity of data center backups and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Ensure data integrity, confidentiality and security
• Provide level 2 and 3 IT support to customers in connection with our hosting activities
• Participate in the analysis and design of innovative technological solutions presented to our customers
• Apply IT procedures/standards and document associated solutions
• Maintain and administer customer systems and application solutions
• Diagnose and handle operational incidents, and ensure that incidents do not recur
• Support the manager in carrying out the department's mandates in order to achieve set business objectives
• Anticipate relevant IT innovations and submit them to the Innovation Committee
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure that it is communicated, assimilated and mastered by the stakeholders involved
• Develop and disseminate operating procedures, while documenting existing secure hosting facilities.
• Participate in the rotation of the data center outage support team outside office hours.

Profile:

• AEC, DEC or BAC in IT or networking
• 5+ years' relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of virtualization with VMWare tools (essential)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Active directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL operating systems
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
• Excellent knowledge of networks (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
• Very good knowledge of infrastructure (SAN)
• Knowledge of telecommunications
• Excellent command of spoken and written French
• Good command of English, both spoken and written, to be able to communicate with certain non-French-speaking customers (asset)
• Recognized certification (e.g. VCP, A+, MCNA, MCP, CCNA) (asset)
• Technical experience with IP telephony (an asset)
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform) (asset)

• Participer xc3xa0 lxc3xa9tude et xc3xa0 lanalyse des besoins de lentreprise en matixc3xa8re dinfrastructures hxc3xa9bergxc3xa9es
• Administrer les machines physiques et virtuelles, la rxc3xa9seautique et le stockage dans le centre de donnxc3xa9es
• Garantir la gestion des demandes de changement en production et sassurer de maintenir xc3xa0 jour les registres de pannes, dinterventions et dincidents
• Assurer la continuitxc3xa9 des sauvegardes des donnxc3xa9es du centre de donnxc3xa9es et mettre en place les actions correctives sil y a lieu
• Sassurer de lintxc3xa9gritxc3xa9, de la confidentialitxc3xa9 et de la sxc3xa9curitxc3xa9 des donnxc3xa9es
• Offrir un service de soutien informatique de niveau 2 et 3 pour la clientxc3xa8le en lien avec nos activitxc3xa9s dhxc3xa9bergement
• Participer xc3xa0 lanalyse et xc3xa0 la conception des solutions technologiques innovantes prxc3xa9sentxc3xa9es xc3xa0 nos clients
• Appliquer les procxc3xa9dures/standards TI et documenter les solutions associxc3xa9es
• Assurer la maintenance et l'administration des systxc3xa8mes et solutions applicatives de nos clients
• Diagnostiquer et traiter les incidents d'exploitation et sassurer que les incidents ne se reproduisent plus
• Appuyer le ou la gestionnaire dans la rxc3xa9alisation des mandats de son service afin datteindre les objectifs daffaires fixxc3xa9s
• Anticiper les innovations pertinentes dans le domaine des TI et les adresser au Comitxc3xa9 Innovation
• Rxc3xa9diger de la documentation technique et veiller xc3xa0 ce que celle-ci soit communiquxc3xa9e, assimilxc3xa9e et maxc3xaetrisxc3xa9e par les intervenants impliquxc3xa9s
• xc3x89laborer et diffuser les procxc3xa9dures dexploitation tout en documentant les installations existantes en matixc3xa8re dhxc3xa9bergement sxc3xa9curisxc3xa9
• Participer xc3xa0 la rotation de lxc3xa9quipe de support de panne du centre de donnxc3xa9es en dehors des heures de bureau

Profil:

• AEC, DEC ou BAC en TI ou rxc3xa9seautique
• 5+ annxc3xa9es d'expxc3xa9rience pertinente au poste
• Excellente connaissance de la virtualisation avec les outils VMWare (essentiel)
• Excellente connaissance des systxc3xa8mes d'exploitation Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Active directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL
• Excellente connaissance du protocole TCP/IP
• Excellente connaissance des rxc3xa9seaux (commutateurs, routeurs, pare-feu, etc.)
• Trxc3xa8s bonne connaissance de l'infrastructure (SAN)
• Connaissances en txc3xa9lxc3xa9communication
• Excellente maitrise du franxc3xa7ais, xc3xa0 loral comme xc3xa0 lxc3xa9crit
• Bonne maitrise de langlais, xc3xa0 loral comme xc3xa0 lxc3xa9crit, afin dxc3xaatre en mesure de communiquer avec certains clients non-francophones (atout)
