About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Data Analytics Manager to lead our data analytics function and team. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Solutions, this role is responsible for overseeing analytics projects, managing a team of Data Analysts, and ensuring accurate, data-driven insights that support organizational strategy and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to guide analytics initiatives, maintain data integrity, and align data capabilities with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Project Management

Lead, mentor, and support a team of Data Analysts, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and high performance. Manage the execution of analytics projects, ensuring deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and business requirements. Develop and manage analytics roadmaps, project plans, and reporting timelines.

Data Analytics & Insights

Oversee the design and delivery of data visualization and reporting using tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Support data integration and transformation processes to maintain data accuracy and accessibility. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data needs and provide analytical solutions that inform strategic decision-making.

Governance & Collaboration

Ensure adherence to best practices for data governance, security, and compliance. Partner with IT and business teams to align analytics with broader organizational goals and technology strategies. Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and resolve challenges to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering collaboration and accountability. Strong project management skills with experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Python, and Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to accuracy and detail. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education & Experience

Post-secondary education in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 3-4 years of progressive experience in data analytics. At least 2 years of experience managing or mentoring a team of analysts.

Working Conditions

Primarily on-site at our Thorold, ON office, with occasional ad-hoc flexibility. Standard office environment, with frequent computer work. Occasional work outside regular business hours (particularly around IT project launches). Periodic business travel within Canada may be required.
