The Opportunity: As a Data Analyst you will bring our understanding of our clients to the next level and help us move forward confidently with data-informed decisions.

Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Interpret data and turn it into information which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions through gathering information from various sources and interpreting patterns and trends
• Conduct complex queries on our data warehouse to help teams get the data they need, and maintain key reports and dashboards to track operational and business metrics
• Perform impactful analysis against large datasets using a variety of data analysis, extraction and visualization tools to report and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Operations, Product and Marketing teams to define and answer business questions in a measurable and actionable manner. What behaviors predict retention? What is the lifetime value of a customer? What effect will changes to the business process have on productivity?
• Drive our data strategy by working with the technology team to identify, implement and maintain the systems we need to collect, verify, and analyze data
• Define standards for data quality, and support the technology team in meeting those standards
• Communicate and distribute data insights
• Make recommendations about the methods and ways in which a company obtains and analyses data to improve quality and the efficiency of data systems
• Educate everyone in the company so that they can use our reporting tools to ask good questions and answer them themselves

Educational/Technical Experience

• A passion and curiosity for driving better business decisions through insight, data and analytics.
• A Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in computer science or business or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in an operational support, data science, or data analysis role
• Expert knowledge of SQL
• Proficiency in Python/PowerBI/VBA/Microsoft office tools

• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills with a passion for learning
• Self-motivated with the desire to continually acquire information and develop new skills to enhance job performance.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks of varying complexities, prioritize and meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Team player that works well independently and as part of a team, willing to work on a variety of technical initiatives
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy making a difference in the business through contributions
