Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is currently seeking a data analyst to join their team! This individual will be focused on Embedded Software DevOps metrics for embedded QNX and Android Software.

Job Duties:

• Analyze Code churn metrics from github by scrum team

• Analyze JIRA metrics for stories and defects per team. Story points analysis

• Convert Data into knowledge and wisdom and make recommendations and conclusion for code churn

• Convert Data into knowledge and wisdom and make recommendations and conclusion for defects incoming source and resolution type

• Automate tooling to produce monthly trends for code churn, JIRA\xe2\x80\x99s etc.

• Build SW Engg benchmarks for SW efficiency \xe2\x80\x93 Merge frequency, Coding time, PR review time, PR deployment time

• Build SW Engg benchmarks for SW quality and predictability \xe2\x80\x93 PR size, Refactor, Planning and Capacity accuracy

• Ability to write automated tool script to extract data from github and JIRA

Top Skills Details:

1) SQL Programming and (OOP Java or C++ or python)

2) Google Cloud Platform exposure preferred

3) Big data experience

4) Back end site development (set up let workflow, schedule those jobs on GCP cloud environment to refresh dashboard in real time)

5) Data engineering experience

Complimentary skill set: Front end visualization (Qlik sense/Power Bi), must be able to visualize data charts

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to write automated SW tools in Python or equivalent languages

• 10+ years experience in analyzing Software data metrics

• 5+ years of embedded Software Development experience in C, C++, Java

• Expert in JIRA

• Expert in GitHub Cloud and GitHub actions

• Expert in Excel for analysis

• Expert in large scale Embedded SW Devops automated tooling

• Awareness or knowledge of metrics produced by tools from Pluralsight, Dynatrace, Apptio and LinearB
