What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting data-informed decision-making by transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your expertise will support operational efficiency, strategic planning, and performance optimization across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across business functions.

Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and recommend data-driven corrective actions.

Financial & Customer Insights

Partner with Finance to analyze customer-level profitability, revenue trends, and margin performance.

Identify cost optimization opportunities.

Data Integration & Modeling

Extract, clean, and consolidate data from various systems and databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.

Conduct scenario modeling and impact analysis for proposed changes or strategic initiatives.

Reporting & Visualization

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Qlik Sense or Excel.

Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Strategic Planning & Forecasting

Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning with data-driven insights.

Build predictive models to forecast trends, risks, and future business needs.

Monitor external factors (e.g., market trends, seasonality) to inform strategic insights.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and analysis processes.

Stay current with industry best practices in data analytics and visualization.

Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.

Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI).

Advanced Excel skills.

Experience with Lean Six Sigma - asset.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in logistics, supply chain, or service operations.

Familiarity with customer profitability modeling and cost-to-serve analysis.

Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
