Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Data Analyst.

Responsibilities:

Investigate ICT solutions of data repositories and streaming pipelines for microgrids or modern transmission-distribution networks
Prototype internet of things (IoT) solutions for connecting various distributed energy resources (DER)
Responsible for establishing and manage data pipelines. Realize the capacity of wide-area data sensing, streaming, and commanding
Data processing and analysis for DERs and microgrid planning or operation

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring to the team:

Hold a PhD or a Master degree in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or with other related background
Proven experience in database and pipelines
Python or C/C++. Familiar with PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, Apache Kafka, etc. or alternative tools
Background in AI/machine learning, mathematics/statistics, blockchain, cloud or edge computing is an asset
