Midland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing superior quality service to our customers. Our services include LTL, T/L, Courier Services, and Third Party Logistics/ Brokerage which provide the convenience of one-stop shipping.

Midland Transport is currently seeking a full-time Data Analyst to be based out of our Head Office in Dieppe, NB and reporting to the Business Process & Innovation Manager. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting Midland\'s master data initiative and the business. This will be accomplished by monitoring performance versus objectives and uncovering new opportunities through data-driven insights derived from datasets, dashboards, and reports.

What You Will Do:

• Identify and wrangle data to enable rapid analytical solution development. Collaborate business experts to assure data is accessible, clean and fits the solution.
• Develop and implement analytical solutions by working with the business on key projects. Techniques involved in solutions will include: Statistical analysis, financial analysis, reporting, and dashboarding. Will take projects from the initial collection of data to the delivery of solution to the end-users.
• Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes within the business and work with Operational Excellence and Master Data Management teams to implement changes.

Who You Are:

• A post-secondary degree in business, science, mathematics, computer science or engineering
• Minimum 2 years of analytical related experience
• Great attention to detail
• Analytical mindset
• Experience in change management
• Knowledge of data modeling
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and be a team player
• Knowledge of J.D. Edwards, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau considered a plus
• A thorough proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to explore, learn and apply best-in-class technologies
