We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and experience working with children. This role involves educating young dancers in various styles, fostering their love for dance, and helping them develop their skills in a supportive environment. The Dance Instructor will play a crucial role in creating an engaging and positive atmosphere for students of all ages.
Duties
Teach dance classes to children, focusing on technique, creativity, and expression.
Develop lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups.
Create a safe and encouraging environment for students to learn and grow.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
Organize and participate in recitals, performances, and other dance-related events.
Collaborate with other instructors to ensure a cohesive curriculum.
Maintain classroom discipline while promoting a fun learning experience.
Engage with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications
Experience in early childhood education or tutoring is highly desirable.
Strong background in dance with the ability to teach various styles.
Previous experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young dancers.
A nurturing attitude with a passion for educating children through dance.
Must be patient, creative, and adaptable to meet the needs of diverse learners.
