Central Alberta Farm Services Ltd provides equipment installation and maintenance services for dairy farms. We have been in the business for 6 years and pride ourselves on providing dependable and efficient services throughout Central AB.

We are expanding our team and currently looking for a welder or millwright for shop and field work. Apprentices with farm experience are welcome.

You will be responsible for:

Using appropriate and safe welding processes to fabricate, and assemble components for custom fabrications

Ensure welds meet or exceed quality standards

Continually learn and grow to innovate with the company

Other duties as assigned, every body does a bit of everything

We are looking for a team members who is:

Well mannered (as we often work on family operations.)

Detail focused

Mechanically inclined

Able to perform physically demanding tasks

A critical thinker

Requirements:

Farm experience preferred

Welding experience required

Autocad or similar experience an asset

Available for oncall schedule (currently every 4th weekend on call)

Clean driving record

Clean criminal record
