AIM is currently looking for a mechanic helper to fill its team at AIM \xc3\x89co-Centre. The incumbent must perform the necessary tasks to maintain the conveyors in good condition in our sorting center.

• Repair, maintain and check conveyors and related equipment;
• Carry out mechanical repairs;
• Perform daily maintenance of the plant;
• Carry out welding, flame cutting, drilling, etc.;
• Ensure the proper functioning of the factory;
• Adjust the conveyors;
• Operate a cherry picker and a forklift;
• Clean machinery;
• Maintain goods and equipment in good condition;
• Ensure that the factory is functional for daytime production;
• Jointly ensure compliance with health and safety rules with team members.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience of at least 1 year in a similar position;
• Experience operating a forklift, BobCat, aerial platform and crane (an asset).

Additional Information

• Part-time, permanent position;
• Schedule: 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.;
• Salary starting at $20.50 per hour with $1 more for evening bonus;
• Possibility of working overtime;
• Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.
