Overview

We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various grinding techniques and equipment. As a Grinder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Duties

Operate grinding machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Perform quality inspections on finished parts using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to tolerances. Collaborate with team members to set up and adjust CNC machines for optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and machinery, including milling machines, to fabricate components as needed. Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Safely operate cranes and forklifts for material handling within the production area. Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Experience

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in grinding or machining roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with CNC programming is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments for quality inspection. Experience operating cranes and forklifts is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
