As part of a cybersecurity mandate, the consultant acts as the central point of coordination between internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of security-related initiatives. The role involves managing resources, applying governance processes, and achieving strategic objectives in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
Ensure the project is delivered according to organizational and security objectives
Develop the project plan and validate resource planning
Coordinate contributions from internal and external stakeholders
Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, quality, and change requests
Oversee deliverables, interdependencies, and transition to operations
Collaborate with technical teams, architects, and cybersecurity experts
Prepare and present project updates to governance committees
Ensure compliance with security standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
Document project activities and maintain traceability of decisions
Requirements
University degree in IT, management, or a related field
8 to 15 years of experience in project management, including cybersecurity projects
Knowledge of information security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST
Experience in matrixed environments and stakeholder coordination
Project management certification (PMP, ACP, PSM or equivalent) is an asset
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
Availability to work in Montreal, Valcourt, Sherbrooke, or Brossard
