Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst
in our global Cyber Defense Center (CDC), you'll be part of a mission-driven team protecting critical infrastructure and enabling a greener tomorrow.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work across IT, OT/ICS, Cloud, and product security environments, responding to real-time threats and collaborating with global experts. How You'll Make an Impact
Act as a second line of defense in our global Cyber Defense Center.
Lead technical investigations of complex cybersecurity incidents.
Use advanced SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms.
Collaborate with global Incident Managers and Threat Hunters.
Apply forensic techniques to uncover attacker tactics and techniques.
Improve incident response playbooks and automation scripts.
Produce post-incident reports with strategic recommendations.
Track emerging threats and vulnerabilities proactively.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years in Security Operations, Incident Response, or Digital Forensics.
Experience with SIEM, EDR, and SOAR platforms.
Strong understanding of network protocols and adversary tactics.
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Passion for continuous learning and cybersecurity excellence.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
