Cybersecurity Architect: Cyber Asset Configuration [100% Remote]

Job Description


On behalf of our large, public-sector client, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an experienced Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect to join our client\'s team on a short-term consulting basis. This role is can be done 100% remotely, within Canada.
Role Overview: Create an Architecture Blueprint for an OT Cyber Asset Configuration Database for Cybersecurity. Include determining requirements, market study of available COTS products and provide recommendation.Project(s) Overview: Create an Architecture Blueprint for an OT Cyber Asset Configuration Database for Cybersecurity. Include determining requirements, market study of available COTS products and provide recommendation
This architecture study will include the following activities:

  • Review the current data repositories and existing high-level data collection processes.
  • Collect and confirm high level functional requirements and future state business processes, through interviews with key stakeholders and SMEs within Asset Planning, Engineering, TNO, TDSO and Cybersecurity.
  • Review available Common Of-The-Shelf products that could meet the requirements.
  • Deliver a recommended target technology architecture.
Required Experience to be successful:
  • A minimum eight (8) years of work experience as a solution or enterprise architect on large scale projects or equivalent.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture
  • Knowledge of NERC CIP
  • The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems, knowledge of Cybersecurity Processes and Asset Information and Configuration systems
Nice-to-have Experience:
  • Certificate in Technical/Solutions Architecture, SysOps, or Development - Associate level, an asset,
  • Professional level preferred
  • Experience in asset management systems
  • Experience with industrial defender or other similar systems
Terms:
This is a short-term contract role. The work can be done remotely, anywhere in Canada. Working hours are PST with flexibility.
