The position at a glance

The Cyber Security Red Team Analyst will be in charge of conducting continuous threat/attack/adversary simulation for BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) Americas. As part of the Cyber Defense Center, Red Team candidates will be expected to act as a catalyst for improvement of CIB\xe2\x80\x99s defensive posture through identification of new or novel attack paths and continuous exercising of incident response teams. Strong ethical hacking capabilities are required which include but are not limited to skills like exploit development, attack simulation, penetration testing, and detection engineering. Additionally, candidates must be able to distill complex technical topics into a form both digestible for stakeholders and contextualized for decision makers.

In detail

• Strong technical experience or knowledge in engineering or development disciplines.
• Offensive Security or Ethical Hacking experience against a broad variety of assets.
• Knowledge and exposure to various command and control frameworks such as those outlined in the C2 Matrix.
• Knowledge and exposure to industry frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND.
• Able to scope, execute, and report on assessment or simulations aimed at measuring and validating defensive posture.
• Aid Blue Teams in simulating threat actor behavior and assist in development of new detective or preventative controls.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge or exposure to developing operations plans from intelligence reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience in field such as Cyber, Computer Science, Information Security, or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years in Information Security or similar field
• Information Security Certifications (GPEN,GXPN,CREST,OSCP,OSCE,GWAPT,GCIH,GX-IH,GDAT)
• Strong technical background
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of English is required
• Collaborative mindset
• Strong sense of curiosity and desire to learn new things

Bonus

• Publically available projects in the offensive security space
• Previous experience on Offensive Security Team
• Previous experience on Incident Response Team
