to join our production team in Bishop's Falls. In this hands-on role, you'll support the EPS cutting line by preparing materials, handling blocks, and assisting with basic production tasks. This is a great opportunity to learn machine operations and grow within a collaborative manufacturing environment.
What you'll do:
Prepare materials and organize workstations to support efficient production flow
Load and unload EPS blocks onto/off the cutting table, ensuring proper alignment and handling
Label products according to production and traceability requirements
Package finished products for storage or shipping
Follow safety instructions and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Communicate any abnormal situations or issues to senior operators or Lead Operator promptly
Maintain a clean and organized work area, free of obstructions and hazards
Observe and learn machine operation processes to build skills for future advancement
What you'll need:
Education:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset but not required
Skills:
Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
Basic mechanical aptitude
Attention to detail
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area
Willingness to learn machine operation
Effective teamwork and communication
Reliability and punctuality
