As a key member of GFL's National Accounts team, you will be committed to enhancing GFL client relationships while growing our market share. You will be relied upon to coordinate new business proposals with prospective and existing clients and will instill confidence in our customers that they are dealing with the industry leader. You will act as a liaison between the customer and GFL's many divisions across the country. This position will focus primarily on growing National Accounts within our Solid Waste collection services. The chosen individual will thrive in this challenging, competitive, ever-changing business environment.
Job Duties
Compiles information from multiple sources for bids and tenders
Analyze customer needs and present solutions utilizing a thorough understanding of our diverse service offerings
Verifies account details and ensure the accurate flow of information within the department and across operational districts
Customer Management Champion--manages customer account information in the company databases, updates it regularly and ensure all information is complete, timely and accurate
Quickly adapts to new situations and approaches; open to change and readily adopts new methods in the face of shifting priorities
Prepare and distributes various reports
Organizing and coordinating travel, events and training
Qualifications
Waste management industry experience is required

TRUX experience an asset
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects
An independent problem solver with excellent organizational skills to work across functions
Bilingualism an asset, but not mandatory
Passion for business excellence with exceptional follow through
Exceptional communication (verbal and written)
Strong Proficiency in MS Office, along with high attention to detail
