Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Customer Support Representative
to join our growing operations team. In this fast-paced role, you will act as the main point of contact for our clients, helping ensure smooth and efficient shipment processing and customer satisfaction. Your work will involve handling inquiries, coordinating logistics, and providing real-time shipment updates.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
Provide accurate, real-time updates on shipment status, delays, and delivery schedules
Enter new shipment orders and maintain up-to-date customer and shipment records
Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and operations teams to ensure seamless deliveries
Track shipments and assist in resolving delivery issues or delays
Address customer concerns and escalate complex issues as needed
Maintain clear and organized records of all customer interactions
Assist with billing inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies
Schedule pickups and adjust delivery routes based on client requirements
Generate reports on customer service performance and recurring concerns
Support the onboarding of new clients by explaining service procedures and expectations
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer experiences
Stay informed about company services, policies, and procedures
Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing training
Suggest service improvements and system enhancements to management
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
1-2 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles (transportation/logistics industry experience is an asset)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving mindset and customer-first attitude
Experience with logistics or transportation management systems is a plus
