Position Overview





We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused

Customer Support & Logistics Administrator

for a 6-month contract. This role is critical in ensuring accurate order entry, effective communication with customers, and coordination with internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable using digital platforms such as Vertrax/Smartdrops and online vendor portals, and is committed to delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities




Accurately process customer orders and maintain records in delivery management systems. Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional support. Coordinate with dispatch, service, and billing teams to ensure seamless delivery operations. Monitor and update delivery schedules using Vertrax/Smartdrops and vendor portals. Assist with account setup, billing inquiries, and resolution of customer issues. Identify and escalate operational challenges to ensure timely resolution. Support process improvements and adoption of new technologies.



Qualifications




High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business administration or related field is an asset. Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, order entry, or administrative support--preferably in logistics, energy, or service-based industries. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word). Experience with dispatch systems, ERP platforms, or delivery management tools (e.g., Vertrax) preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with billing and account setup processes is an asset.
