Position Overview: Build your Career with Finning Canada! We are looking for our next 2 temporary Customer Support Center Representatives to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work closely supporting a large customer base across a variety of Finning products and services.

You will be responsible for providing call direction services for both internal and external customers and supporting the facilities 24/7/365.

:

  • Answer calls, determine caller needs, use corporate directory or branch webpage to accurately transfer call
  • Provide support to customers through Finning chat features, emailing direct contacts within the company for support, providing phone numbers or email addresses for departments/people within Finning.
  • Register shipments, general troubleshooting and helping the customer over the phone when they do not receive their code for the shipment using systems as M3 and Shiphero to gather customer information.
  • Severe weather \xe2\x80\x93 monitor weather update sites, determine affected area, send email to appropriate personnel
  • Receive employee calls, complete webform to begin employee monitoring, set up reminder schedule, monitor schedule for late check ins, and manage missed check in process including escalation to Gm level if required.
  • Keeping up to date spreadsheet of all units and contacts for those units. Requesting Activations and Deactivations for those branches by contacting Geo Pro Support. Gathering Stats on interactions we receive in a day.
  • Confirmation though SalesLink if a customer has authorization to be onboarded, aiding the digital services team in creating cases for customers with online support issues.
  • Receive and follow up of emails for Digital Support from customers.
  • Timekeeping for employees ; using Kronos to evaluate timely and accurate timecards, inputting schedules, and creating historical edits for payroll.
  • Update to Finning\'s internal web pages, throughout the week or changes in people for vacation/days off or away from the office.
  • Taking Messages for after hours call outs - gathering customer information and reasons for calling to have an accurate transfer for afterhours contacts.
  • Speaking to and taking logistics information for our transportation contacts.
Qualifications:
  • Previous contact center experience would be considered an asset
  • Minimum grade 12
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to stay organized while supporting multiple concurrent activities
  • Supportive team player
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
