Customer Supply Chain Team Lead

Job Description


Position Summary:Reporting to the Manager, Customer Supply Chain, the purpose of this role is to Lead & Support team for assigned customers. This person will act as the single point of contact (SPOC) within Supply chain internally and externally. As a team lead, this role will be responsible for making key business decisions and recommendations. Direct interactions with Customers, Planning, Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics and QA teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.Key Accountabilities:

  • SPOC - Singe Point of contact for all SC related inquires. Represent SC in weekly connects
  • VMI - Quarterback/Lead - In collaboration with Supply & Demand Planning;
  • Claims Management - Work closely with CM & CSCS for resolution/disposition;
  • Working with manager, in collaboration with SP to gather accurate data, Sales for prioritization to form communication to customer;
  • Support CSCS Team on daily functions as listed below;
  • Manage Supply Challenges - Shortages/Back orders/Delaying orders/ allocations/ reservations/ OCD/ Routes/ Transportation;
  • Order Management - Pricing/Min & Max/Lead/Ship Dates;
  • Coordination with the Production and Logistics teams to ensure daily customer requirements are being met;
  • Develop and maintain business relationship with Customers and Sales while providing excellent Customer Service;
  • Provide data to Sales, including, but not limited to, pricing, order status, holds issues, backorders, freight quotes, order consolidation, and delivery information.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years or equivalent experience;
  • CPG Experience xe2x80x93 Preferably Food Industry;
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor team;
  • Ability to effectively sell ideas or other intangibles through communication and persuasion skills;
  • Proven ability to delegate tasks;
  • Proven ability to achieve challenging goals and objectives;
  • Time Management - Able to prioritize multiple tasks to make effective use of time;
  • Strong skill in MS Office applications (Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet.
