If so, we want to hear from you and how you will be an asset to our team! The Customer Solutions Leader develops, promotes, and administers SaskEnergy’s energy efficiency programs and initiatives. This includes working closely with SaskEnergy Network Members, Government/Crown partners, and other SaskEnergy departments to ensure customer requirements are identified, met and that customers are well informed of energy efficiency programs. This position delivers presentations and outreach activities related to energy efficiency and promotes public safety related to carbon monoxide detection and the responsible use of natural gas.
Position Details


  • This position is a permanent full time non-union role.

  • This position is currently subject to a scope grievance and may result in the position being within the bargaining unit (with corresponding changes to pay and benefits).

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for achieving corporate objectives through development, delivery, and reporting of energy efficiency programs and public awareness strategies.

  • Participate in cross-functional work teams and collaborate with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop strategies for projects, programs, and services.

  • Perform research and benchmark to industry standards and approaches.

  • Educate internal and external stakeholders with both formal and informal presentations; examples of stakeholders are residential and business customers, students, community groups, business partners and other SaskEnergy departments.

  • Establish, cultivate, and nurture collaborative long-term relationships contributing to success of programs and initiatives with SaskEnergy Network Members, Associations, Industry, media, provincial and federal government representatives, and internal departments.

  • This role will champion the organization’s vision of helping customers reduce their environmental footprint while ensuring natural gas remains a reliable and responsible energy source in Saskatchewan.

Qualified Applicants will possess

  • Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Social Sciences.

  • Three (3) years experience in a business environment. Experience in energy efficiency programs as well as customer and stakeholder engagement would be considered an asset.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey messages clearly and concisely.

  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations, in-person or virtual, in an engaging and interactive manner.

  • Ability to manage ones’ time - establish priorities, meet deadlines and work on multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Training in customer experience principles and/or usability best practices would be considered an asset.

  • Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.

  • Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.

  • A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.

Additional Information

  • Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, is required on occasion.

  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required.

$67,380 - $94,320
