Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while managing transactions efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome customers with a friendly demeanor, providing exceptional customer service at all times. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the POS system for processing transactions. Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and maintaining a balanced cash register. Assist in food preparation and ensure all food items are sanitized and presented according to restaurant standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils. Provide support to kitchen staff as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food orders to customers. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, enhancing their overall dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Comparable experience is also considered valuable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Food Safe & Serving it Right required.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $17.85-$24.02 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
