Our mission is to provide superior service to our clients while ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our fleet. We are looking for a motivated and organized Dispatcher to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:



The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and scheduling transport operations, ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries while optimizing driver and vehicle resources. This role plays a central part in ensuring smooth communication between drivers, clients, and the internal team.

Responsibilities:



Daily Dispatching:

Assign routes and loads to drivers based on schedules, availability, and regulations.

Route Optimization:

Plan efficient transport routes considering traffic, road conditions, fuel efficiency, and delivery deadlines.

Driver Support:

Communicate regularly with drivers to monitor progress, provide updates, and respond to any issues or delays.

Fleet Tracking:

Use transport management systems to track vehicle locations and manage workflow in real time.

Client Communication:

Inform clients of delivery schedules, delays, or changes; maintain high service levels.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure driver compliance with transport regulations.

Issue Resolution:

Handle transportation disruptions such as vehicle breakdowns, weather delays, and route changes swiftly and efficiently.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain dispatch logs, delivery records, and relevant documentation.

Requirements:



High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics or transportation is an asset. Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience in the transportation industry. Knowledge of provincial and federal transport regulations. Strong computer skills and experience with dispatching software. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities. Strong communication skills in English and French. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Pay: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

8 hour shift Monday to Friday
