We are currently seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Dispatcher to join our Service Operations team.

Position Summary

The Service Dispatcher serves as the primary point of contact for inbound service requests, coordinating technician schedules and ensuring timely and efficient resolution of alarm system issues. This role requires exceptional communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to inbound calls and emails from customers requesting alarm system troubleshooting and repair Schedule service appointments based on technician availability and customer urgency Dispatch technicians with clear instructions and prioritized assignments Maintain accurate service records, technician logs, and customer data Liaise with technicians to monitor service progress and resolve scheduling conflicts Support the service team with administrative tasks and follow-up communications Conduct preliminary troubleshooting to assess service needs prior to dispatch

Qualifications and Competencies

Proven ability to communicate professionally via phone and email Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and urgent requests Demonstrated customer service orientation with a solution-focused approach Basic technical understanding of alarm systems and troubleshooting procedures Effective problem-solving skills to manage service delays and conflicts Proficiency in scheduling software, CRM platforms, and email systems High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service deadlines

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in dispatching, customer service, or alarm/security systems Familiarity with multi-province service coordination (Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba) Bilingual proficiency (English/French) considered an asset

Pay: $43,000.00 per year
