Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing individual customer accounts, ensuring high customer service results that promote customer retention and growth. The Customer Service Representative represents the company as the primary point of contact with our customers and provides an integral internal link supporting Business Development activities.
This position is located in Windsor, Ontario, one of two sites located in Canada offering softgel development and manufacturing capabilities for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industries. We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full-service turnkey solutions.
Shift: Onsite - Normal hours 8:30 -5, M-F
The Role
Promote and maintain the organization\xe2\x80\x99s brand image and identity within the marketplace.
Identify and target new business sales opportunities that close quickly for the highest revenue. Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts; improve client utilization and product/service adoption rates.
Monitor forecast/historical sales in order to communicate with customers and BDMs regarding sales opportunities and growth. Complete precise and accurate sales data entry that assists in ensuring company profitability. Update and maintain working forecast including monthly consumption calls.
Identify and resolve risks associated with the delivery and/or provision of customer contracts; manage client expectations throughout the contract.
Track and follow the completion of internal requirements to ensure timely response to customer. Maintain an up to date account profile sheet for individual customers to ensure accuracy of needs. Track and Measure Department Metrics as required.
Work with the Supply Chain team to acquire and process order confirmations. Continuous communication regarding order status, including internal communication for resolution of issues, notice of delay / issue / reschedule to the customer.
Support New Product Introduction Process and Development Project Plans through the DPM Meeting and the DMP Manager. Coordinate task completion as assigned with internal departments, Business Development Managers, and the customer.
Must be able to work extended hours, weekends as needed, especially when problems occur or when deadlines must be met.

The Candidate
Minimum College Diploma required.
Minimum 3-5 years of direct-selling and account management experience; experience working in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing and/or GMP facility a plus.
Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a high degree of tact and persuasiveness.
Demonstrated experience in closing major enterprise transactions.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, other stakeholders.
