The Customer Service Representative (CSR) Warehouse is responsible for the performance of the day-to-day customer service functions for all customers. This includes handling of telephone calls, order placement, managing of inventory, production reports, tracing of shipments and developing strong lines of communication. This also involves assessing the customer needs and demands and relaying any potential issues as well as positive feedback
to the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Manager. Meeting and exceeding customers' expectations of the company is the main focus.

Pay Rate:$19.25/hour
Temporary- for 3-4 months
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
PPE requirement - Safety footwear is required when in the warehouse floor, we have safety vest for people that work on site
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Customer Communication:
The CSR will be responsible for handling/directing inbound and outbound telephone calls, faxes and e-mails. This includes:
- Receiving and handling incoming customer calls, faxes and e-mails.
- Understanding the customers' needs as thoroughly as possible and working with the Warehouse staff to ensure these needs are fulfilled.
- Identifying problem situations with customer shipments, orders and consulting as required to bring these problems to resolution.
- Receiving incoming shipment information from customers, via telephone, fax and e-mail; recording and communicating this information to the appropriate Warehouse personnel.
- Booking inbound and outbound loads Road / Rail for the warehouse accounts.
2) Order Detail Entry:
This responsibility entails receiving customer order information and performing the necessary tasks. This
includes:
- Documenting the data.
- Entering information into an inbound program.
- Communicating the information to the appropriate Warehouse personnel.
Tracing Customer Shipments:
Periodically, the customer will inquire about their shipment and it is the responsibility of the CSR to respond to each such inquiry. This includes:
- Tracing the shipment.
- Updating customers on the status of inbound and outgoing shipments.
- Engaging in the necessary follow-up.
Production Reporting:
Warehouse personnel will produce various customer production reports and it is the responsibility of the
CSR to manage the delivery of all the reports. This involves:
- Keeping track of all the reports and the frequency.
- Forwarding the appropriate reports (as per customer procedures) to customers in a timely manner. - Forwarding customer reports to Warehouse Manager. 5) Administration: This involves managing various administrative functions necessary within the warehouse, including: - Receiving incoming telephone calls to the Warehouse administration office in a pleasant and efficient manner. - Collecting various paperwork and distributing to the appropriate individuals. - Basic monthly invoicing to warehouse customers. 6) Other: Engage in other projects and activities as is necessary to the position and as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Manager.
