Customer Service Representative

Status: Temporary

Location: St. John\xe2\x80\x99s



You will provide professional customer service in a contact center environment in a friendly and efficient manner. You will also be involved with addressing customer accounts, service inquiries, responding to emergency service calls, processing service work orders and billing data, as well as, assisting any other tasks and activities associated with customer communications and account processing.



You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the Corporation\'s Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.



You must have a high school diploma supplemented by the successful completion of a two or three-year diploma program in business management from a recognized post-secondary institution and one year subsequent work experience in a recognized contact center or similar customer services environment. You must be proficient in the use of personal computers and standard office software and have previously worked with a customer information system (CIS). You must be able to work with minimum supervision, exhibit a positive work attitude and be highly self-motivated. You should also have an established and proven record of good oral and written communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with people.
