About Our Client
Our client is a well-established education-focused organization with locations in Richmond and Vancouver. They provide a welcoming learning environment for students of all ages and are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Staff member to support daily studio operations. The role is essential in ensuring students, parents, and instructors receive a positive and seamless experience.
Hours and Pay Rate

  • Part-time: 10 to 24 hours per week, depending on scheduling needs and operational requirements.
  • Pay Rate - $18 to $19 an hour
Responsibilities
Customer Service & Student Support
  • Greet students, parents, and visitors to create a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Handle inquiries in person, by phone, email, and online.
  • Assist students and parents with registration, scheduling, and general program information.
  • Address basic customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
Administrative & Operational Tasks
  • Follow opening, closing, and shift procedures in alignment with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Maintain studio cleanliness and readiness using established checklists.
  • Manage attendance records and facilitate communication between instructors and students.
  • Complete accurate End-of-Day (EOD) reports.
Sales & Payment Processing
  • Process POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Record payments, issue invoices, and update customer accounts.
  • Track product sales including books, instruments, and accessories as needed.
Qualifications
Required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy school or studio environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort with common software tools.
  • Professional, friendly, and reliable work ethic.
Assets
  • Experience in administrative, retail, receptionist, or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products, apps, and services.
  • Experience in education, music, or related fields.
