Position Summary



Devon Transport prides ourselves in providing efficient and friendly service to all of our customers for their car rental and storage needs. The staff at this location are responsible for processing rental transactions, providing value-based recommendations of our products and services, basic administrative tasks, and communicating effectively all while upholding high standards of service in a fun and positive work environment.

Position Responsibilities



Answering customer inquiries Quoting Rates effectively Opening Rental Agreements Closing Rental Agreements Communicating with location staff, support departments, and other city locations through email and by phone. Ensuring customer satisfaction and solving customer service disruptions as needed Following service-based sales recommended dialogue. Communicating policies and procedures effectively to customers. Continually learning best practices Engaging in training as required. Completing administrative tasks as directed by management. Identifying fleet needs for same day and upcoming days. Clean cars and trucks as needed

Position Requirements:



Customer Service focused. Shift flexibility as needed to meet business demands. Punctual and accountable for shifts Willingness to learn.

Qualifications and Experience



General communication with team members. General customer service. Class 5 driver's license.

Drivers abstract will be requested upon hire*
Sales experience considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



Excellent listening and communication skills. Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes. Work alone and in a team environment. Vehicle knowledge considered an asset. Sale skills considered an asset Time management skills

Working Conditions



Schedule that includes weekends and holidays Mix of shifts based on location hours up to 9.5 hours in a day Work alone and in a team Ongoing training and feedback.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
