We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves acting as liaison for most customers and processing sales orders for Kubota Materials Canada Corporation. Multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Prepare quotations by assessing customer inquiries/drawings with respect to established parameters
Receive and review purchase orders to confirm quotation and delivery obligations
Coordinate customer orders, other than the major orders, through order entry, drawing preparation/approval, engineering, production and shipping to ensure contract obligations are met
Review project specifications and inspection requirements for each order and notify departments impacted
Review technical problems/inquiries with potential and existing customers, including material selection, casting design, interpretation of specifications and qualifying testing requirements
Create business process workflows for orders and input into database
Coordinate information on a regular basis with Sales Managers
Complete various budget sheets, as required
Maintain pricing schedules and costing data and update through customer portal systems
Act as a point of contact for customer orders
Act as a coordinator for small orders
Ensure alignment with the overall Global Sales & Customer Service departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
Grade 12 diploma from a recognized secondary school, or equivalent (e.g. GED)
Minimum 2 years working in an office environment, in a Customer Service role
Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
Experience and knowledge of foundry manufacturing processes and welding technology, including non-destructive (NDE) testing principles
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Superior interpersonal and communication skills
