We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Customer Service Representative
to join our team based out of Niverville, Manitoba. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer experiences, and efficient coordination across our services. The ideal candidate will combine strong administrative skills with a proactive approach to customer service in a dynamic, industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact by answering and directing incoming calls and responding to inquiries both in-person and over the phone.
Coordinate effectively with Residential Operators, residents, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Enter and manage scale tickets, service agreements, and other administrative records, ensuring compliance with government reporting requirements.
Support the Dispatcher and administrative team with data entry and general administrative tasks.
Operate all Transfer Station duties, including:
Accepting payments and waste from the public
Ensuring proper waste separation and disposal
Scheduling hauling of materials or dumping of full bins
Manage scale house operations, ensuring trucks dump in the correct areas and all procedures are followed accurately.
Communicate professionally and clearly with co-workers, customers, vendors, ratepayers, and other stakeholders.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming work environment for both customers and employees.
Handle customer concerns with professionalism, resolving issues when possible or directing to the appropriate personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Previous experience in waste management, fleet management, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively while prioritizing tasks.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with data entry and administrative software.
Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices and ability to maintain a safe working environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Skilled at problem-solving and collecting relevant information to resolve customer concerns efficiently.
Comfortable working in an industrial environment and exposed to varied weather conditions year-round.
