Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a clean and efficient working environment while supporting food preparation and service. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming dining experience. Assist guests with menu questions, recommendations, and special dietary requests. Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate to management when required. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout their visit (refills, check-ins, feedback). Help with serving food during meal times, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to guests. Take dine-in, takeout, or delivery orders accurately (POS or phone). Confirm special instructions, spice levels, and customization clearly. Communicate order details seamlessly with kitchen staff. Follow up on delayed orders and ensure timely preparation/delivery to the customer. Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining, takeout, and service areas. Assist with table setup, clearing, sanitizing, and resetting. Support team members during rush hours (packing orders, answering phones, helping at counter).

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or Cashier is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Experience in food preparation or cooking is beneficial for this role. A background in hospitality or food service will be considered an asset. Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining kitchen standards.
