Job Description

We are a family owned automotive parts company with two locations in London, Ontario, one location in Fraser, Michigan, and one location in Warren, Michigan. Specializing in custom painted car parts, we are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This full time position operates Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and offers ample opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Position Summary:



The Customer Service Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting with inquiries before and after order placement via phone, email, chat, text, social media, or in person. The CSR will also address customer concerns, complaints, and other issues, ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout each customer interaction.

Overview:



Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast paced environment. Interact with colleagues across all company locations. Gain proficiency in platforms such as Shopify, RingCentral, and Gorgias to handle tasks and respond to customer inquiries. Identify customer needs and provide tailored product or service recommendations. Develop a thorough understanding of our product offerings to accurately address customer questions. Communicate clearly and professionally in writing, ensuring effective correspondence. Work with the team to resolve customer complaints promptly, ensuring overall satisfaction. Display strong organizational abilities. Address customer inquiries and follow up as needed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist customers in placing orders and responding to inquiries. Provide detailed product information and quotes. Keep customers updated on order status and shipping information. Resolve issues with orders and proactively reach out to customers as needed. Update orders, issue invoices, and process refunds when necessary. Respond to customer reviews and inquiries across multiple platforms. Monitor and track orders to ensure timely fulfillment. Handle local order fulfillment. Maintain organized files, documentation, and databases. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum typing speed of 55 words per minute. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office applications. Ability to work independently and within a team. Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills to navigate a fast paced environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, high volume setting.
