You will be responsible for overseeing the movement of customers' freight primarily in Canada and the US to ensure each shipment is coordinated and executed successfully to meet customers' expectations. Your work will support sales and operations efforts, and you will communicate effectively with other team members. This position is a great opportunity to set foot within the extensive logistics field.
How will you do this?
Coordinate the day-to-day needs of assigned customers.
Verify all new shipment details and input orders into transportation management system (TMS).
Dispatch pickup instructions to assigned carriers.
Monitor pickups and deliveries - track and trace orders.
Effectively communicate with customers and carriers.
Provide shipment summary reports daily.
Ensure billing and payable accuracy for assigned customers and partner carriers.
Communicate challenges and improvement opportunities to operations and sales staff.
Prioritize issue resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
Customer service experience.
Minimum high school diploma.
Fluency in written and verbal English. Must be professional and well mannered.
Excellent interpersonal skills with outgoing personality.
