-based Mining & Heavy Equipment wheel manufacturer seeking a

Customer Service Representative

to assist our Sales department.

Our products include large steel wheels and rims for the Mining, Construction, Logging and Material Handling industries sold under the

GMI Wheels

brand.

The CSR

assists our Sales team

by

answering inquiries

,

providing order updates

,

obtaining production timelines

,

following up

onoutstanding

information requests

, and

entering quotes

/

orders

, primarily by phone and text. The CSR will also assist with other Sales and administrative activities as needed.

This is a Full Time, in-office position.

Duties

Receiving calls and emails from Sales staff and Customers, and promptly responding with information, updates or quote / order entry. Routinely following up with Sales staff and Customers on outstanding quotes or information requests. Proactively monitoring in-progress orders and updating Sales staff and Customers by attending production meetings, reviewing the production schedule and tracking shipping. Communicating timelines and production requirements to the Production and Engineering departments on behalf of Sales staff and Customers to determine order lead times. Assistance with various Sales tasks including price list creation, updating contact data.

Experience

2 Years in a Customer Service role involving Order Entry with an ERP / MRP computer system, with knowledge of Material and Inventory Planning. Applicants with Quickbooks, Sage (Accpac) or similar experience may be considered.

Requirements

Good computer aptitude and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) knowledge. Clear and professional communication over phone, text and email. Excellent verbal and written English. Mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing or shop environment are strongly recommended.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
