VR & Cafe Specialist / Customer Service Representative
. This unique role will involve providing exceptional customer service and guiding guests through immersive virtual reality experiences at
NextGen VR Arena
, while also serving delicious desserts and bubble tea at
Sugar & Ice
, our in-house dessert cafe.
We are especially interested in candidates who have

Key Responsibilities:
At NextGen VR Arena:
Assist Guests with VR Experiences: Guide customers through virtual reality setups, explain the technology, and ensure they have an exciting and safe experience.
Customer Support: Answer questions, recommend games, and ensure a fun and immersive visit.
Troubleshooting: Help resolve basic tech issues quickly and efficiently.
Maintain Equipment: Check and upkeep VR headsets and related gear.
Safety and Cleanliness: Monitor for safe usage and maintain a sanitary space.
At Sugar & Ice Cafe:
Serve Desserts & Bubble Tea: Take and prepare orders based on menu offerings.
Customer Service: Offer a welcoming attitude and helpful recommendations.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep workspaces and dining areas tidy and organized.
Handle Payments: Use the POS system for transactions and receipts.
Food Preparation: Assist in creating appealing, high-quality desserts and snacks.
Cross-Functional Responsibilities:
Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with both VR and cafe staff.
Promote Both Experiences: Encourage cross-visitation between the VR arena and cafe, especially during promotions or events.
Marketing Engagement
: Assist with or contribute ideas for social media content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram), help with event promotion, and support brand outreach efforts.
Upselling & Customer Engagement: Enhance the guest experience with personalized suggestions and upselling techniques.
Qualifications:
Previous Experience: Background in customer service, food & beverage, or tech is a plus. Training will be provided.
Customer-Focused: Friendly, communicative, and enthusiastic about great service.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with learning and using VR equipment.
Multitasking: Can juggle responsibilities between VR and cafe roles.
Detail-Oriented: Keeps workspaces clean and service top-notch.
Physical Stamina: Can stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Flexibility: Willing to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Marketing/Social Media Savvy
: Familiarity with digital marketing, content creation, or managing social media accounts is a strong asset.

Compensation:
