ACCOUNT MANAGER

What does the Account Manager do?



As an Account Manager, you'll be the primary contact for a dedicated portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive the best insurance solutions to meet their needs. Your day-to-day will include:

Managing and servicing an existing book of business by handling renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.

Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and support.

Identifying opportunities to enhance client coverage and recommending additional products or services.

Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all policy documentation and transactions.

Collaborating with underwriters and carriers to resolve client inquiries and coverage concerns.

Maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring all interactions align with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications



Required:

An active and current insurance broker license for the relevant provincial regulatory body (e.g., RIBO).

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a service-focused insurance brokerage role, preferably in both Personal and Commercial Lines.

Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting principles, and regulatory compliance.

Proficiency in policy management and CRM systems.

Asset:

A university degree in a related field or a college diploma in Insurance from a Canadian post-secondary institution.
