Job Description

A.O. Smith Fergus is looking for a Customer Service Representative that provides exceptional service support to external and internal customers in relationship to customer order management. To act on the customers behalf, providing service solutions that are satisfactory to the customer. To exceed the customers service expectations whenever possible.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities



Confirms and enters customer orders into SAP system ensuring accuracy of pricing and verifies all other pertinent areas of the sales order are correct.

Processes EDI orders and releases to distribution.

Enter direct delivery orders and maintain receipts of direct delivery orders.

Scans customer EDI errors, sends back to the customer for correction and sends corrected to the EDI Team

Quickly and efficiently responds to customer inquiries regarding product, price, delivery, order statuses and freight costs via telephone and email.

Responds to e-mail inquiries received through the Customer Service general mailbox.

Responds to emails at personal email box.

Responds to voice mail messages.

File customer order documents.

Follow-up with customers as required regarding customer pick-up orders and

other matters relating to customer orders, pricing variances and SKU changes.

Makes recommendations for process change and continuous improvement.

Responsible for thorough knowledge of full range of products and for keeping up-to-date on

new product information.

Additional duties as assigned by Customer Service Supervisor

Qualifications:



Must be a team player
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent call management skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
Strong organizational skills
Customer Service experience
Should have data entry/ ERP experience. Familiarity with SAP a preference.
Minimum High School diploma/ GED
Availability Monday to Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.67-$24.85 per hour
