Answer emergency-type calls and transfer them to the appropriate downstream agency or dispatching emergency responders;
In the event of reduced volume, take a variety of telecommunications calls;
Make sure that the provided information is maintained private and strictly confidential at all times;
At all times, demonstrate tact and calmness to assist with the request.
Qualifications
Be perfectly bilingual (English and French);
Be able to work on-site at our Montreal centre on all shifts and meet the requirements for working at our centres (criteria will be discussed during the interview);
Flexible schedule (essential) - We have to be able to help people when they need us (during the day, evening, night or weekends);
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Strong critical thinking and ability to find optimal solutions to complex situations;
Active listening skills and ability to manage your stress levels to make the right decisions under pressure;
High school diploma or the equivalent, completed;
Advanced computer skills and ability to use various computer equipment and telephone systems;
Ability to type precisely and accurately;
Training start date: April 17th
