We are looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our Edmonton-based team. The successful candidate will be expected to:
Customer Service
Providing pricing, availability, and schedule information
Utilize available resources to identify appropriate solutions for customers
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective call resolution
Suggest alternative products or services to meet customer needs
Monitoring the sales process, from quote through to delivery, providing the customer with up-to-date status reports on ETA of goods.
Sizing up used or new customer parts
Produce accurate and complete orders/invoices
Managing/updating all orders entered. (updating deliveries, late deliveries, delivery change requests, expediting etc.)
Develop RGA for customers to return goods and start NCDR if required
Entering customer part numbers/cross reference lists
Work with the source and purchasing department to find specialty items not in stock for customers
Identify new products, materials, applications, dimensions etc.
Work with manufacturing on quoting and production of goods including providing standard DMH drawings and PO's
General
Understand primary customer goals and have a knowledge of all or most contacts assigned
Collaborate with department managers & supervisors and technical sales staff regarding new account development, goal setting, troubleshooting concerns/problems.
Collaborate with engineering/drafting new product drawings.
Acting as a liaison between customer, sales, and purchasing regarding new, current and future requirements.
Participate in worksite hazard assessments, incident investigation, safety meetings, safety training and other aspects of the Hi-Tech Seals Inc. safety and quality control programs as required
Other duties as required
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and characteristics:
High school diploma or equivalent
5-10 years related experience preferred
Ability to operate with the customer's best interest in mind
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers
Industry related product knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical and decision making skills
Computer skills, to include; email activity, navigating the internet, MS Office applications and ERP systems
Excellent problem solving skills.
Strong Organizational Skills
CET designation
Industry related experience would be an asset.
