Customer Service Representative

The UPS Store is a locally owned franchise business looking to hire a full-time Customer Service Representative in Edmonton. We are looking for hard working individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Duties

Delivers exceptional customer service while building rapport and trust with customers for future business Provides knowledgeable business solutions to customers including packaging, shipping, printing, and finishing options Works directly with customers to interpret client design needs Develop graphics and visual images for product illustrations, logos, and print marketing Receives and distributes parcels to mailbox holders Understands and educate customers of mailbox options and benefits Operates all store equipment such as printers, scanners, fax machines, laminators, and binding equipment Utilizes computer software and presents customers with multiple shipping options for delivering parcels to their destinations with varying speed and protections. Follows standard packaging guidelines; accurately assess materials necessary for packing jobs and perform at customers' request Maintains a clean and safe working environment May be required to open or close the store Other related duties as required

Qualifications

High school diploma required Experience working in retail/customer service environment; experience with shipping or postal office considered an asset Graphic design and experience working in a print environment preferred Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Customer service experience with strong verbal/written skills Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask Must be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
