Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the an additional point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for accuracy and have a passion for helping others. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Duties

Enter customer orders into dispatch TMS and pre-planning systems in an accurate, timely fashion. Enter all customer load confirmations and PODs into our Document Management system. Request proof of deliveries and provide PODs to the accounting team in a timely fashion so that all work can be billed to the customer ASAP. Requesting all pickup and delivery app'ts and updating corresponding dispatch systems and customer portals. Set up border crossings, handle customs documents, ensure trucks are cleared to cross USA / Canada borders using Border Connect software. Fulfill any add'l responsibilities assigned by management.

Skills

A customer service representative, or CSR, will is genuinely excited to help customers and other staff members alike. They're patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They love to talk. Customer service representatives can put themselves in their customers' shoes and advocate for them when necessary. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don't have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction. Competency in English, and excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.

Trucking / Logistics experience is a must. Only candidates with trucking experience will be considered.
TruckMate, WorkOptima & other related software knowledge is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
