Position Overview

The CSR / Driver plays a key role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. In this hybrid position, you will support our customer service and facility operations as an hourly employee, and complete local deliveries as a self-employed contractor. This role is ideal for someone reliable, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with varied responsibilities.

1. Customer Service & Operations (Employee Role)

Wage:

$19 per hour

Location:

78 Jamie Ave. Unit A, Ottawa, ON

Responsibilities:

Provide friendly, professional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions Process customer orders and maintain accurate customer records Assist with basic administrative tasks, filing, and maintaining office procedures Prepare simple reports and support data entry as required Support front-end organization and ensure a clean, welcoming environment Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently Support facility operations including light cleaning, stocking, and organization Other duties as required to support daily business functions

Delivery Driver (Contractor Role)

Employment Type:

Independent Contractor (Self-Employed)

Compensation:

Paid per delivery, based on rates set by Meal Prep Ottawa

Responsibilities:

Picking up prepared meal orders from our facility Delivering meals safely and promptly to customer locations Following provided delivery routes and instructions Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with customers Clocking in/out for delivery shifts as required Submitting invoices for completed deliveries for payment

Requirements for This Role:

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Physically able to stand for long periods and perform cleaning tasks Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle suitable for food delivery Ability to navigate efficiently within the Ottawa area Comfortable working both as an hourly employee and as an independent contractor (responsible for own tax filings for delivery work) Strong reliability and punctuality
