About the Role


We're hiring a

Full-Time Customer Service Representative

-- what we call a

Digital Support Squad Representative (DSSR)

-- to support the online customer journey for a range of brands. You'll be answering inbound and outbound messages, providing product and order support, and helping shape the tone of online communities.

In Social is a fully remote Shopify Plus digital marketing + ecommerce agency based in Toronto with a team of 20+ people. Since 2015, we've worked with brands around the world across industries like skincare, apparel, home goods, wellness, food & beverage, baby products, professional services, and more.
Our clients have been featured in publications like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Forbes, and Business Insider, and are sold in major retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Loblaws -- one client even hosted the White House Correspondents' Dinner!

What This Role Is



The

Digital Support Squad

is our entry-level starting point -- and it's where many of our team members begin before growing into marketing, strategy, and management roles. You'll receive full training, mentorship, and exposure to campaigns, brand strategy, and agency operations so that you can carve out your long-term career path here.

You'll Be Doing Things Like:



Handling customer inquiries via email, tickets, chat, and phone -- representing brands with accuracy and care Responding to social media comments, messages, and questions to keep community engagement strong Moderating and replying to online reviews on various platforms Following client-specific workflows and guidelines to keep responses consistent and efficient Working closely with your fellow Support Squad teammates and our Marketing team Reporting to Experience Leads and the Customer Experience Manager for support and feedback Sharing customer insights to help inform marketing campaigns and bring better experiences to life Acting as "last eyes" on marketing content to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer needs

We'd Love to Hear from You If You:



Have

1+ year

of customer service experience (online or in-person) Speak and write English fluently Are confident communicating on phone and live chat Enjoy helping people and solving problems thoughtfully Have reliable internet and a functioning laptop Are dependable in a remote-work environment Can work days/evenings and weekends for

40 hours/week
