Customer Service & Community Manager

who is not only a master of customer experience but also someone who can build rapport with our growing community -- both online and offline.

This role requires someone with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a proactive mindset, and the confidence to

speak with customers by phone

, resolve concerns, and turn every interaction into a positive one. Bonus if you're passionate about toys, anime, trading cards, or gaming culture!

Key Responsibilities



Customer Support (Phone, Email, Chat, In-Store):

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries across all channels, ensuring a helpful and friendly experience.

Phone Communication:

Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, providing updates, resolving concerns, and creating a personal connection with our customers.

Order Management:

Assist customers with order placements, shipping updates, and post-purchase support. Occasionally help with packing online orders when needed.

Community Engagement:

Foster positive interactions with our in-store and online community (including social media and event attendees), answer questions, and escalate concerns where needed.

Issue Resolution & Feedback:

Troubleshoot customer issues, provide solutions quickly, and gather feedback to improve service delivery.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a strong understanding of Magic Chest's products, promotions, events, and brand voice to provide accurate information.

Upselling & Relationship Building:

Identify opportunities to recommend products or services that align with customer interests and elevate their experience.

Skills & Qualifications



Outstanding verbal and written communication in

English

(Multilingual is a plus) Comfortable and professional on the

phone

Strong attention to detail and

problem-solving skills

Experience in

customer service, retail, or e-commerce

support preferred Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to connect with diverse people Familiarity with Shopify, customer service platforms (e.g., Gorgias, Zendesk), or social media DMs is a bonus Ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
