: Customer Service Representative - Joint Force Tactical

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role requires strong communication skills, both over the phone and through email, to deliver excellent customer service while assisting with sales. You will help customers find the right tactical products for their specific needs, build their customer profiles, and ensure accurate order processing. A passion for tactical gear and a desire to continually learn will make you a strong fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities

:

Customer Communication

: Assist customers via phone and email to identify their specific needs, recommending tactical products tailored to their job requirements and preferences.

Order Management

: Accurately enter customer work orders into the system, ensuring the correct products are ordered and delivered as requested.

Customer Profile Development

: Build and maintain detailed customer profiles, tracking sales, preferences, and order history to enhance customer service and sales opportunities.

Inventory Coordination

: Work with the warehouse team and vendors to verify inventory levels and product details, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Collaboration with Custom Apparel Department

: Communicate with the custom apparel and promotional department and gather details from the customer on their customization and uniform alteration requirements.

Trust Building

: Develop lasting relationships with customers by offering knowledgeable advice and personalized service, building trust rather than focusing on hard sales.

Sales Support

: Help the sales manager maintain customer profiles and manage orders, ensuring smooth operations and accurate records for customer interactions.

Warranty Assistance

: Handle customer warranty inquiries, coordinating with the appropriate teams to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Website Sales Support

: Assist with website sales by answering customer questions, helping them navigate product options, and resolving issues related to online orders.

Lead and Opportunity Reporting

: Update the sales manager on new customer leads, new sales opportunities, and progress on potential deals.

Tactical Gear Knowledge

: Develop a strong understanding of the tactical gear products we offer, actively seeking to learn more about the features, uses, and benefits of the products to better assist customers.

Skills and Qualifications

:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and clear phone manner Strong attention to detail for accurate order entry and customer profile management Ability to listen to and understand customer needs, recommending the best products based on their requirements Strong multitasking ability to manage phone calls, emails, and order processing
Experience with Inventory Management software and Google Workspace.

Experience in customer service, sales, or order management is essential Ability to work effectively with internal teams such as sales, warehouse, vendors, and custom apparel departments Knowledge of tactical gear is a plus, but an eagerness to learn and gain product knowledge is essential Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach to customer service Ability to handle warranty claims and provide timely resolution to customers Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
