Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic counter sales assistant, which will play a crucial role in serving our customers products and answer questions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast- paced and dynamic environment within the food industry.
Duties
Keep front customer retail and baked goods shelves clean and stocked Keep front customer department clean including floors, carpets, bathrooms, front door and stair railings Keep product warmer, pie/cake fridge and coffee station clean and stocked Answer the phone and take orders from customers Build supplies as required (Boxes and stamp bags) Cashier duties include - processing customer orders, balancing the float and cashing out daily
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Knowledge of food ingredients and potential allergens - Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff - Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain cleanliness - Standing for long periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
