The Opportunity
As a member of this three-person, blue-collar front office team, the Customer Service Representative will work collaboratively with their colleagues to provide an exceptional customer experience at all levels. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and customer-centric, an ideal fit for someone who enjoys working directly with customers and has solid administrative skills.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lower Mainland, BC. Only current residents of Greater Vancouver with reliable transportation will be considered, as relocation assistance and/or international sponsorship are not offered at this time.
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working in a front-facing customer service-based role is required.
  • Current knowledge or understanding of the Automotive Industry in some fashion is required; specific Collision Industry experience/knowledge would be considered a significant asset.
  • Experience with Glass Repair would be a definite plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a MUST
  • Highly detailed with strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Complete fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking)
Responsibilities of the Position
  • Answer phones and welcome customers into the shop, assessing their needs and directing them to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Manage customer intake, inquiries, follow-up and communication in collaboration with the Estimating team.
  • Review electronic and manual files to ensure all documentation is in place before the vehicle is released to the customer.
  • Support the Estimating team in starting collision estimates
  • Manage Glass Estimates and files as part of the front office team.
  • Foster cross-departmental communications and functions.
  • Actively participate in maintaining the overall facility, health and safety standards and best business practices.
